December 30, 2013: 2013 is coming to a close, and we're ready for another year. It has been an interesting experience starting the american comicbook index on a dedicated site. The visitors have been interested in some other books and publishers than expected. All in all, it has been a good start for the site, and with a little luck, 2014 will be even better.


June 23, 2013: So, the site is converted and uploaded. The main page still needs a little work, and I'm using Humphrey the dragon as logo until I figure out what the logo for this site should be. Upload took forever as I've scanned and indexed around 4000 American comics, which is around 2GB of data, at this point.


June 16, 2013: Just like the part of WeirdSpace.info with the Danish comics was given a separate site, the part with the American comics had grown to a size where it made sense to split it off as a separate site. This morning I bought the name americancomicbooks.info. Cyber squatters had taken the .com site, and as this is an info site and not a commercial site it made more sense to get the .info domain than trying to get a similar .com by using hyphens or rewarding the squatters by paying. It will take a few days before everything is ready for upload.
